Wii Virtual Console/WiiWare Games Reconfirmed To Be Transferable To Wii U

GoNintendo has posted an image from Game Informer which re-confirms that Virtual Console & WiiWare games from the Wii will be transferable to the Wii U when it launches later this year. Wii retail games are also re-confirmed to be compatible with the new system. Unfortunately Gamecube games will no longer be compatible (as they were on Wii), so either hold on to your Gamecube (if you still have it) or Wii if you want to keep playing GCN games.
